iOS 9.1 Untethered Jailbreak Officially Released

Following the release of iOS 9.0-9.0.2 Untethered Jailbreak five months ago, the Pangu Team has officially launched an all-new Untethered Jailbreak tool, Pangu9 V1.3.0, that supports iDevices running from iOS 9.0 all the way to iOS 9.1.

To Jailbreak iOS 9.0-9.1, all you have to do is:

  • Always back up your data
  • Disable Touch ID, pass code, and find my iPhone
  • Turn on Airplane Mode
  • Connect your iDevice and run the jailbreak tool
  • Uncheck the PP checkbox and hit the Start button
  • Hit the "Already Did" button (the one on the right if you get the Chinese version)
  • The jailbreak process will now begin
  • Once the Jailbreak tool hits the 65%, unlock your device and re-enable Airplane Mode
  • Once the Jailbreak tool hits the 75%, unlock your device and run the Pangu app and tap "Accept"
  • Once the the process is over, turn off Airplane Mode and then open Cydia
  • Done !!
Reminder: Some users have reported a bootloop issues with this release, and the only way to fix it is to restore your device, which will then upgrade it to iOS 9.2.1 with no ability to Jailbreak.

Unfortunately, this Jailbreak only supports 64-bit devices such as the iPhone 5s or newer, iPad Air or later, iPad Mini 2 or above, and the iPad Pro. That's it, you are now running the Untethered Jailbreak on your iOS 9.1 iPhone and iPad devices and can enjoy even more customizations and tweaks.
