Instagram Announces 60-Second Videos

Following the announcement of the Account Switching feature earlier last month, the Facebook's owned online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing, and social networking service has officially revealed that it will be expanding the duration of uploaded videos.

After launching 15-Second Videos about three years ago, Instagram has announced that the company will now be expanding video recording support to up to 60 seconds, offering users "fun, flexible and creative ways to create and watch video on Instagram". Alongside 60-second videos, the company has revealed that it will be bringing back the ability to make videos out of multiple clips from your camera roll on Apple devices.

Instagram 60-Second Videos is now rolling out on Android and iOS devices, and will be available for everyone in the coming months, while Multi-clip video will be re-launching next week on iOS.
