Apple Releases iOS 9.3 Beta 5 & Public Beta 5

Following the release of iOS 9.3 Beta 4 to developers as well as iOS 9.3 Public Beta 4 to public testers just one week ago, the company has officially launched an all-new build of iOS 9, iOS 9.3 Beta 5 build number 13E5225a, to developers for download and testing.

Alongside iOS 9.3 Beta 5, Apple has also released iOS 9.3 Public Beta 5 to public beta testers. Similar to the previous iOS 9.3 Beta 4, the fifth build of iOS 9.3 Beta is also a minor update featuring:

  • The Night Shift toggle in the Control Center now turns Night Shift on and off on demand instead of showing a pop up menu with options to "Turn On For Now" or "Turn On Until Tomorrow"
  • The Apple Pencil navigation capabilities on the iPad Pro has been restored
  • Under-the-hood enhancements
  • Performance improvements
  • Other Bug fixes
iOS 9.3 Beta 5 is now rolling out as a free update through Software Update or via iOS Dev Center for registered developers, while registered public beta testers will get it via Software Update or through Apple's Beta Software Program.
