Samsung Galaxy S7 Launch Event Announced


With MWC 2016 event only thee weeks away, where major phone makers are expected to reveal their latest and greatest products, Samsung has officially announced that it will be holding its Galaxy S7 launch event later this month.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 will reportedly be featuring 5.1-inch Quad-HD (2560x1440) display, Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 variants, 13MP or 12MP shooter with f/1.7 aperture, 5MP front-facing camera, non-removable battery, microSD card, as well as a lightweight version of TouchWiz on top of Android Marshmallow.

The phone will come with a similar design to the Galaxy S6 with Metal and Glass construction, USB Type-C support, ClearForce technology (Similar to apple's 3D Touch), IP67 (dust and water resistant), Home button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor, as well as fast charging and wireless charging support.

Samsung will be revealing its 2016 flagship, the Galaxy S7, on February 21 through its Galaxy Unpacked 2016 event, while the phone is expected to launch early March for around $650.
