Raspberry Introducing The Pi 3


Raspberry has officially revealed its latest and greatest product, as well as the latest member joining the Pi family, the Raspberry Pi 3, delivering a successor to last year's Raspberry Pi 2 that offers both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Integration.

The Raspberry Pi 3, Model B to be exact, features 64-bit Quad-core ARMv8 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, VideoCore IV 3D graphics core, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.1, Micro SD card slot, Full HDMI and Ethernet ports, 4 USB ports, Camera interface (CSI) and Display interface (DSI).

The tiny computer comes with identical form factor to the previous Pi 2, Combined 3.5mm audio jack and composite video, 40 pin extended GPIO, a recommended 2.5A micro-USB power adapter (5V adapter still works), compatible with Raspberry Pi 1 and 2.

The Raspberry Pi 3 is now available on sale for $35 through the company's partners like element14 and RS Components, as well as other resellers.
