The MV1 features 5-inch 1080p IPS display, Snapdragon 212 Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, Adreno 304 GPU, 1/2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 64GB), 8MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP front-facing camera, 2500mAh battery, and either Cyanogen OS 12.1.1 or Android 5.1 Lollipop options.
The phone comes in 8.95mm thin and weighs 149g, with Polycarbonate body, Gorilla Glass 3, Anti-fingerprint oleophobic coating, DTS Sound with dual microphone for noise-cancellation, 4G connectivity with Dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, as well as White color option.
According to Obi "With the MV1, we set out to do what we do best – merge style with substance. We took our signature design elements and blended them together in a single device. The result? A smartphone that feels perfectly in balance".
The Obi MV1 is now available in select Asian and African markets starting at $139 for the base model, while the high-end one will go for $149. Although, Europe and Latin America will get it sometime in March.
