Larry Hryb, also known by his Xbox Live Gamertag as Major Nelson, has announced that Carcassonne is now rolling out to current-gen Xbox consoles at no additional cost for those who previously purchased the medieval strategy board game on last-gen consoles, thanks to the Backward Compatibility feature. Last but not least, the King & Baron as well as Rivers II Expansion Packs will also be Backward Compatible.
Carcassonne is now available for free on Xbox One for those who already owned the game on Xbox 360. Although, the new Backward Compatible title can also be purchased for $9.99.
