New Far Cry Primal Patch Revealed

Following the launch of Far Cry Primal on current-gen Xbox and PlayStation consoles, Ubisoft has officially revealed the latest update coming to its action-adventure video game, the Day-1 Patch, offering players an all-new Expert Mode as well as other tweaks.

In addition to gameplay improvements, performance enhancements, and bug fixes, Far Cry Primal Day-1 Patch includes a new difficulty setting called Expert Mode, featuring:
  • Players' health has been halved compared to Hard difficulty
  • Reduced players aim assist
  • AI shoots faster by 1/3
  • Enemies in combat are not shown on mini map by default (they appear only if they are tagged)
  • It takes the AI a longer time to "forget" you when you hide
  • The aim assist box is reduced for several weapon types (bow, club, spear)
  • The player damage is reduced
Far Cry Primal Day-1 Patch, which takes about 560MB of space, is now rolling out as a free update on both Xbox One and PS4 consoles, while PC will get once the game launches on March 1st.
