Samsung Releases Gear S2 Classic New Edition

Samsung has officially revealed its latest and greatest wearable product, as well as the latest member joining the Gear family, the Gear S2 Classic New Edition, delivering a new variant of the original Gear S2 Classic as part of the company's "commitment to bringing more choices to consumers".

Similar to the Gear S2 Classic, the brand new circular smartwatch features 1.2-inch circular display, Dual-core processor clocked at 1.0 GHz, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 250mAh battery with wireless charging support, , dust and water resistant, NFC with Samsung Pay support, Heart Rate monitor, and Tizen OS (compatible with Android KitKat or newer)

However, the Gear S2 Classic New Edition comes in high-end materials and two unique finishes including the 18K Rose Gold finish with Ivory Genuine Leather Band, as well as the 100% Platinum finish with Black Genuine Leather Band. Plus, some new "stylish" watch faces and artwork has been added to the smartwatch for a "more personalized wearable experience".

The Samsung Gear S2 Classic New Edition will be available in China starting today, while other countries around the world will get it over the next few weeks. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on pricing.
