New Rocket League Update Announced

Following the announcement of Rocket League coming to Xbox about seven weeks ago, Psyonix has officially revealed the latest update coming to its physics-based vehicle soccer video game, including the content of the Rocket League's upcoming Patch.

The new Rocket League Patch, which will bring an end to the first season of competitive Rocket League, will be featuring:

  • Delivers Rewards to those who reached "Bronze" Division or higher in the Ranked Play ladder, including Limited Edition Crowns with Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum variants
  • Items will now have a "Quality" tag and color such as Common (Grey) for Stock items, Premium (Green) for items acquired from paid DLC, and Limited (Orange) for items acquired in seasonal or limited time promotional events
  • Brand new Uncommon (Light Blue), which can be found after completing online-only matches and will feature all-new Toppers and Antennas to deck out your Battle-Car
The new Rocket League Patch will be released sometime in February as a free update on PC, PS4, and perhaps Xbox One.
