New Rainbow Six Siege Update Revealed

Following the announcement of Rainbow Six Siege upcoming DLC getting delayed over one week ago, Ubisoft has officially revealed the latest update coming to its first-person shooter, Update 1.3, bringing some improvements as well as bug fixes.

Rainbow Six Siege Update 1.3 features:

  • Any cheating detected by the system will lead to a permanent ban (up to three-day suspensions for first-time offenders)
  • An insta-kill configuration has been added to deal with Defenders that go outside their zone during the preparation phase
  • Hit registration for consoles has been improved 
  • Partial fix of Error [2-0x00000041]
  • Potential full fix of the loading screen freeze (smoke background)
  • Potential full fix of the failed data synchronization issue
  • Session authentication operation requests are now using the per data center proxy instead of the Dev one
  • Improved error tracking, for easier issue identification from our side
  • Ranked match reconnection fixes 
  • Various smaller connectivity and crash fixes
Rainbow Six Siege Update 1.3 is now available on PC, while Xbox One and PS4 will get it January 20. Last but not least, Update 1.2 is now rolling out on consoles.
