Netflix Launches Worldwide

Netflix, the American and now worldwide provider of on-demand Internet streaming media, has officially announced during its CES 2016 press conference that its very successful subscription-based service will now be expanding to Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

With Netflix going global, users around the world will be able to watch Netflix original series like Marvel’s Daredevil and Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Narcos, Sense8, Grace and Frankie, and Marco Polo, as well as a catalog of licensed TV shows and movies anytime, anywhere, and virtually on any device that has an Internet connection. The company has also announced that Netflix now supports Arabic, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, in addition to the 17 languages already available.

According to Netflix "Today you are witnessing the birth of a new global Internet TV network," The company continued "With this launch, consumers around the world -- from Singapore to St. Petersburg, from San Francisco to Sao Paulo -- will be able to enjoy TV shows and movies simultaneously -- no more waiting. With the help of the Internet, we are putting power in consumers’ hands to watch whenever, wherever and on whatever device".

Netflix is now rolling out in over 130 new countries around the world starting at $7.99 for the basic Plan, while users can try out the service for free for one month.
