HP Introducing EliteBook Folio G1

HP has officially revealed its latest and greatest laptop, as well as the latest member joining the EliteBook family, the EliteBook Folio G1, delivering "the world's thinnest and lightest business-class notebook".

The EliteBook Folio G1 features 12.5-inch 1080p/Ultra-HD touch display, 6th-Gen Intel Core M7 processor, optional 6th-Gen Intel Core M vPro processor with up to 10 hours of battery life, PCIe SSDs, 8GB RAM, four speakers, full-size Keyboard with gesture-enabled clickpad, two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3, and Windows 10 Pro.

The notebook comes in 12.4mm thin and weighs under 1 kg, with polished diamond-cut CNC aluminum body, 180-degree piano hinge, edge-to-edge glass display , optional HP USB-C Travel Dock, enhanced sound for Skype calling, HP Sure Start with Dynamic Protection, as well as Silver color option.

According to Alex Cho, vice president and general manager, Commercial PCs, Personal Systems, HP Inc "Just because someone uses a PC at work, doesn’t mean they have to sacrifice their desire for a cool, thin and light device," He continued "That’s why we designed the HP EliteBook Folio – the world’s thinnest and lightest business-class notebook – which offers users the best of both worlds: a premium design that consumers want while elevating business-critical security and manageability to delight the needs of IT".

The HP EliteBook Folio G1 will be available in March through the company's online store starting at $999.
