Cyanogen Releases New OnePlus Update

Following the announcement of Android Marshmallow coming to OnePlus One couple months ago, Cyanogen has officially revealed the latest software update coming to OnePlus' 2014 Flagship Killer, Cyanogen OS 12.1.1, which brings Microsoft's personal assistance Cortana.

With Cyanogen OS 12.1.1, OnePlus One users will be able to take advantage of Cortana voice command capability, which have been deeply integrated into the Cyanogen ecosystem, and perform hands-free actions like:
  • Say "Hey Cortana" to wake her
  • Set, reminders and scheduling meetings
  • Call and text your friends
  • Set your alarm for you before you go to bed and wake you when it’s time to get up
  • Turn on Quiet Hours so calls go straight to voicemail and notifications are silenced
  • Toggle modes and power off
Cyanogen OS 12.1.1 is now rolling out as a free update to all OnePlus One owners who are still using Cyanogen OS instead of Oxygen OS.
