ASUS Launches The Live

ASUS has officially revealed its latest and greatest mid-range product, as well as the first smartphone that breaks away from the ZenFone family, the ASUS Live, delivering a new smartphone that offers "the same standard used in TVs for digital TV signal reception in HD".

The ASUS Live features 5-inch 720p IPS display, MediaTek MT6580 Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 64GB), 8MP shooter and 2MP front-facing camera, 2070 mAh battery, and Zen UI on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The phone comes in 9.98mm thin and weighs 140g, with built-in Digital TV Full-Seg, Super HDR mode for a "professional look", 3G connectivity only with Dual-SIM support, FM Radio, 100GB of Google Drive storage (free for 2 years), as well as Pink, Blue, and Yellow color options.

The ASUS Live is now available in Brazil for 849 BRL (about $211).
