Apple Launches tvOS 9.2 Beta

Following the release of tvOS 9.1 to the public five weeks ago, the company has officially launched an all-new build of tvOS, tvOS 9.2 Beta build number 13Y5179e, to developers for download and testing.

tvOS 9.2 Beta includes several new features such as:

• Enables developers to implement Maps into their tvOS apps

• Bluetooth keyboard support 

• The ability to create and rename Folders 

• Redesigned App Switcher interface

• The Podcasts app has been added to the Apple TV 4th-Gen

• New languages has been added to Siri including US Spanish (only in US ), and French Canadian (only in Canada)

• UK English, Australian English, and US English are now available the UK, Australian, and US Storefronts when English is set as the tvOS language

tvOS 9.1 Beta is now available through a profile on the developer portal, which enables devs to update directly from tvOS 9.1 to the all-new tvOS 9.2 Beta.
