Whatsapp To Introduce Video Calling

Following the announcement of Voice Calling Feature for Whatsapp nine months ago, the Facebook owned cross-platform instant messaging service will reportedly soon introduce Video Calling, as new screenshots of the feature has been leaked.

According to Macerkopf, a German website who was able obtained a couple of screenshots showing off the new Video Calling feature in action, Whatsapp will soon be rolling out Video Calls to all supported platforms. Whatsapp's UI for Video Calling looks to be a very simple one, featuring buttons for mute/unmute, switch between the rear and front camera, as well as a small floating preview window that can be moved around.

Whatsapp Video Calling is expected to begin rolling out over the coming weeks, and similar to Voice Calling, Android may get it before other platforms.
