Sony Launches PlayStation Messages App

Similar to Facebook, Sony Computer Entertainment is the latest one to join the Messaging party, by announcing its own standalone Messages App, called PlayStation Messages App, while removing the message feature from its original PlayStation App.

PlayStation Messages App features:
  • View your full Friends List to instantly see who's online and what they're playing 
  • Send text or voice messages as well as photos, attachments, and stickers to your friends or a group with up to 100 players
  • Quickly access your favorite message groups from your favorites list
  • More streamlined design
Reminder: An account to connect to PlayStation Network is required to use this application's features

According to Sony "Making PS4 a socially connected experience has always been one of our core goals, and we think this app will help enhance that connectivity even further

PlayStation Messages App is now available for free on both Android and iOS.
