Sony Announces New PS4 Update

Following the launch of System Software V3.11 one month ago, Sony Computer Entertainment has officially announced the latest update coming to current-gen PlayStation consoles, Sharefactory v1.07, offering players "several highly requested" features by the community.

Sharefactory v 1.07 features:
  • Time Bender, offering the ability to add slow motion and time lapse effects to your Sharefactory videos
  • Sharefactory Events, which will be held by your favorite game developers and publishers
  • The number of clips you can add to your Sharefactory projects has been expanded to 50
  • The number of music track clips you can add to your Sharefactory projects has been expanded to 12
  • Layering for stickers and text has been added(now referred to as overlays)
  • 2 New music tracks
  • 3 New filter effects
  • 3 New wipe transitions and 5 new dissolve transitions
  • New Color Picker, which means that text color is no longer constrained to a limited color palette
Sharefactory v 1.07 is now rolling out to all PS4 consoles as a free update.
