Samsung Introducing Galaxy A9 (2016)

Following the recently leaked Galaxy A9, Samsung has officially revealed its latest and greatest mid-range product, as well as the latest member joining the Galaxy A family, the Galaxy A9 (2016), delivering a brand new super-sized phablet.

The Galaxy A9 (2016) features 6.0-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 652 (previously known as Snapdragon 620) Octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 128GB), 13MP shooter with OIS and 8MP front-facing camera, 4,000mAh battery, and TouchWiz on top of Android Lollipop.

The phablet comes with a a Metal build and a very similar design to the Galaxy S6, 2.5D Glass, Gorilla Glass 4, Home button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor, NFC with Samsung Pay support, 4G connectivity with Dual-SIM support, Quick Charge support, as well as White, Gold, and Pink Gold color options.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2016) is expected to launch first in China. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on pricing or release date.
