LG Releases Android Marshmallow For G3

Following the launch of Android Marshmallow on LG G4 couple months ago, the company is back once again with some pretty exciting news, and has officially announced that Android 6.0 is now rolling out to the LG G3.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow for LG G3 features:

  • Now on Tap
  • App permissions control
  • Doze battery saving mode
  • Adoptable storage that can turn SDcard into an internal memory
  • Redesigned icons and font style in the Settings menu
  • Updated Knock Code
  • Direct Share, with recommended apps and people
  • Silent mode has been added to the sound profile
  • Allow Peeking (heads up notifications)
  • QMemo+ has been renamed as Capture+
  • Interval shot, with the ability to take 4 selfies in a row 
  • Ringtone ID has been added
  • Smart Bulletin on the left of the Home Screen
Android Marshmallow is now rolling out first to LG G3 user in Poland. Although, to update your device, the firmware must be installed using a computer, while an OTA is expected to be released very soon.
