Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for the One A9 brings new features as well as other enhancements, including:
- The ability to choose between AMOLED and sRGB colors in "Display" settings
- The ability to hide navigation bar in "Personalize" settings (can be re-activated by swiping up from the bottom of the display)
- An option to require a pattern lock to start the device on "Screen Lock" settings
- Other battery and camera improvements
- New "Until Next Alarm" option has been added to the "Do Not Disturb" mode (has been disabled for some reason, but can be re-enabled by rolling the date back before Christmas)
- New emojis support (not available on Stock HTC Keyboard)
- December security patch
