Android Marshmallow Launch Date For Samsung Devices Leaked

Following the leaked Android Marshmallow roadmap for Samsung devices one month ago, a new report claims to obtain a "confirmed list" of the first Samsung devices to receive Google's latest and sweetest mobile OS, as well as their launch date.

According to Samsungviet, the first Samsung devices to get Android Marshmallow in the first Quarter of 2016 will include:
  • Galaxy Note 5
  • Galaxy Note Edge
  • Galaxy Note 4
  • Galaxy Note 4 Duos
  • Galaxy S6 Edge
  • Galaxy S6 Edge+
  • Galaxy S6
  • Galaxy S6 Duos
  • Galaxy S5
  • Galaxy S5 Neo
  • Galaxy S5 LTE-A
While the second Samsung devices to get Android Marshmallow in the second Quarter of 2016 will include:
  • Galaxy Alpha
  • Galaxy Tab A
  • Galaxy Tab S2 9.7
  • Galaxy Tab S2 8.0
Samsung has apparently moved the launch date of Android Marshmallow on the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ from late December to early 2016. With more devices to get the latest Android OS later on.
