PS4 Remote Play Coming To Computers

Following the launch of the Kenshin Update on current-gen PlayStation consoles couple months ago, Shuhei Yoshida, the president of Sony's worldwide studios, has officially announced the latest update coming to PS4, including the expansion of PS4 Remote Play on computers.

Similar to Microsoft's Xbox app on Windows 10, which allows Xbox One players to stream their favorite games on their Windows machines, Yoshida has revealed that Sony is also working on an official app that will enable PS4 players to stream their favorite PlayStation games to their computers. However, unlike the Xbox app, Sony's app will work on both Microsoft as well as Apple-based computers.

According to Sony "Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. :D".

Sony will be releasing PS4 Remote Play on both PC and Mac. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on when the app will be launching.
