OnePlus Announces Android Marshmallow Launch Date

Following the launch of Android Marshmallow about couple weeks ago, as well as the announcement of the first devices to receive Android 6.0 from HTC, Motorola, Sony, LG, and Huawei, OnePlus is the latest one to join the Android Marshmallow party, by revealing the launch date of Google's latest and sweetest Android OS.

According to Carl Pei, OnePlus Co-founder, the first devices to get Android Marshmallow will include the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 via Cyanogen OS, while OxygenOS will be updated later on. Last but not least, OnePlus X is also scheduled to receive Android 6.0 in the future. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on when the smaller device will get it.

OnePlus will begin rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow starting the first quarter of 2016 to its 2014 and 2015 flagships, while the OnePlus X will get it later on.
