Craig Sullivan, creative director at Ghost Games, has revealed to Vice Media, a media company and digital content creation studio, that Ghost Games is planning to release all upcoming downloadable contents, which are scheduled to begin rolling out soon, to all Need For Speed players on both current-gen consoles and computers at no additional cost.
According to Sullivan "All I can say is, honestly, hand on heart, is there are absolutely no plans to charge for content in this game. We're going to give you everything for free" He continued "The plan is that there are no transactions in this game. All of the content that we're going to give you – a pretty substantial amount in the future, starting pretty soon – is going to be free. That's what players deserve".
Need For Speed is now available on consoles, while the PC edition is expected to be released in Spring 2016.
