Windows 10 Fall Update features improvements in all aspects of the platform and experience, including:
- Performance in everyday tasks is now nearly 30% faster than Windows 7
- Cortana can now recognize the phone number, email address, and even physical address to help you set reminders and keep track of your event and movie bookings
- Cortana is now rolling out to in Japan, Australia, and Canada and India (in English)
- Performance and security improvements in Microsoft Edge, along with a new tab preview, and the ability to sync your Favorites and Reading list items across devices
- Windows Update for Business that offers IT controls over the deployment of updates within their organizations
- Windows Store for Business that offers IT a flexible way to find, acquire, manage and distribute apps to Windows 10 devices
- Mobile Device Management
- Azure Active Directory Join
- Credential Guard, Device Guard, Windows Hello, and Windows Defender
Windows 10 Fall Update is now rolling out on PC and Tablet devices as a free update through Windows Update. The company has also announced that Xbox One consoles will begin receiving Windows 10 starting today, while select mobile phones (still unknown) will get it soon.
