With Continuum, Windows 10 Mobile users will be able to turn their mobile devices in to a PC-like experience, by simply plugging their phones to an external monitor via an HDMI cable, and connecting a wired or wireless keyboard and mouse, or even using their phone's display as a touch input, and get things done or enjoy entertainment through a big screen.
Reminder: Continuum will only be available on select premium Windows phones, and only a number of apps are supported for now.
According to Microsoft "Discover how your Windows phone can be a phone that works like a PC. All you need is a monitor and keyboard and you’re ready to do great things".
The Continuum feature is expected to be available on other Windows 10 Mobile devices, once the company begins rolling out the update. Although, more apps are expected to become supported on the big screen in the near future.
