The Kirin 950 chip, model number NXT-AL10 will reportedly be featuring an Octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, and has managed to score 1710 points in single-core scores as well as 6245 points in multi-core scores. Huawei's upcoming in-house chip is expected to be a pretty powerful one specially when compared to Apple and Samsung's A9 and Exynos 7420 chips, which have scored 2487 and 1486 in single-core as well as 4330 and 4970 in multi-core scores respectively.
Huawei is expected to introduce the Kirin 950 chip early 2016 alongside the Mate 8.
