The Mate 8 features 6-inch 1080p IPS display, Kirin 950 Octa-core processor (4x2.3GHz + 4x1.8GHz), Mali T880 GPU, i5 coprocessor, 3/4GB RAM, 32/64/128GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 128GB), 16MP shooter with OIS and 8 front-facing camera, 4000mAh bettery, and Huawei EMUI 4.0 on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The phablet comes in 7.9mm thin and weighs about 185g, with aerospace-grade aluminum build, 2.5D glass, 4G connectivity with Cat6 support, fingerprint sensor on the back, Dual-SIM support, FM Radio, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, as well as Moonlight Silver, Gray Sky, Mocha Gold, and Champagne Gold color options.
The Huawei Mate 8 will be available this week in China starting at around $480 for the 3GB/32GB base model, while the 4GB/64GB will go for about $590, and the 4GB/128GB will be sold for about $700.
