Hacker Team Wins $1M Bounty For Browser-Based Jailbreak

Following the announcement of the Zerodium iOS 9 Bounty about six weeks ago, which is said to be the "world's biggest zero-day bug bounty program", the privately held and venture backed startup has officially revealed that a winner has been announced.

Zerodium has promised that it will be offering $1 Million Dollar to anyone who can achieve an exclusive remote browser-based untethered jailbreak for iOS 9.1/9.2 Beta, with the ability to enable remote, privileged, and persistent installation of an arbitrary app such as Cydia, by simply visiting a web page or reading a SMS/MMS, and must work on the latest iPhone and iPad devices.

Although, a winner has been announced, the name of the $1M Bounty winning team hasn't been released. Unfortunately, this jailbreak will most likely not be released to the public.
