Google Launches YouTube Music

Google has officially reveled its latest and greatest product, as well as the latest member joining the YouTube family, YouTube Music, delivering a "completely new type of experience, designed to make discovering music on YouTube easier than ever".

YouTube Music is a brand new YouTube experience that has been built from the ground up just for music, allowing you to follow, listen, and watch a "nearly endless" catalog of artists, official music videos, full albums, remixes, and covers, keep up with what's trending, view concert footage and live recordings, as well as offering recommended tracks and Personalized stations just for you.

The company has also announced that YouTube Red subscribers will get the chance to "amplify" their experience with:
  • Ad-free videos
  • Listen to music offline on mobile devices
  • Enjoy music while using other apps or with your screen off 
  • Listen in audio mode without having to load video
  • Benefits work when signed in to YouTube or a YouTube app
YouTube Music is now available in US on both Android and iOS for free, while other countries are expected to get it later on.
