Google Launches New Android Wear Update

Following the announcement of Android Wear support for iOS about couple months ago, Google has officially revealed the latest update coming to its wearable-designed OS, as well as one of the long waited and much anticipated feature, Cellular Support.

With Android Wear's newest update, wearers will now be able to rely on their Cellular connection in case they lose Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connections, while allowing them to stay connected in even more places than ever before, with the ability to send and receive messages, track fitness, get answers from Google, and run their favorite apps.

Reminder: To take full advantage of Android Wear's new capability, your smartwatch as well as your smartphone must be connected to a cellular network.

The new update of Android Wear is now rolling out first on the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition, while other smartwatches with cellular data support will get it later on.
