ASUS Launches ZenFone 2 Laser In US

Following the launch of the ASUS ZenFone 2 in US about six months ago, ASUS has officially announced that it's now releasing the latest member joining the ZenFone family, the ZenFone 2 Laser, delivering a new phablet specially designed for those "seeking a premium phone with an excellent camera".

The ZenFone 2 Laser features 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, Snapdragon 615 64-bit Octa-core processor(4x1.7 GHz + 4x1.0GHz), Adreno 405, 3GB RAM, 16/32/GB internal storage, MicroSD Card (up to 128GB), 13MP shooter with laser autofocus and 5MP front-facing camera, 3000mAh removable battery, and ZenUI 2.0 on top of Android Lollipop.

The phablet comes in 0.43 inches thin and weighs 6 oz, with Gorilla Glass 4, glove touch support, 4G connectivity with Cat 4 support, Dual-SIM support and GSM only compatible, 5GB free lifetime ASUS WebStorage, ASUS SonicMaster for "better sound clarity and deeper bass", as well as Silver color options.

According to ASUS "ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser delivers a premium phone with laser auto focus, octa-core performance, dual active SIM, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and removable battery to value-conscious users --".

The ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser is now available in US starting at $199 for the base model, while the higher end one will go for $249 through the company's online store as well as Newegg.
