Apple Releases OS X 10.11.2 Beta 4/Public Beta 4

Following the release of OS X 10.11.2 Beta 3 as well as OS X 10.11.2 Public Beta 3 just one week ago, the company has officially launched an all-new build of OS X El Capitan, OS X 10.11.2 Beta 4 build number 15C47a, to developers for download and testing.

Alongside OS X 10.11.2 Beta 4, Apple has also released OS X 10.11.2 Public Beta 4. Similar to OS X 10.11.2 Beta 3, the fourth build of OS X 10.11.2 Beta comes with bug fixes, security improvements, and performance enhancements. Although, Apple is asking developers to focus on:

  • Photos
  • Wi-Fi
  • Networking
  • Spotlight
  • USB
  • Calendar
  • Notes
  • Mail
OS X 10.11.2 Beta 4 is now available through Software Update or via the Mac Dev Center for registered developers, while public beta testers will get it via Software Update or through Apple's Beta Software Program.
