Apple Releases iOS 9.2 Public Beta 2


Following the release of iOS 9.2 Beta 2 to registered developers just one day ago, the company has officially launched a new build of iOS 9, iOS 9.2 Public Beta 2, to public testers for download and testing.

Similar to the second build of iOS 9.2 Beta, iOS 9.2 Public Beta 2 also includes:

  • The ability to dismiss the Safari View Controller with a swipe from the edge 
  • AT&T's NumberSync feature support, which enables users to receive calls to their phone numbers on Mac or iPad devices, without the need to be connected on the same Wi-Fi network
  • Un-paring and re-pairing the Apple Watch will no longer cause the Stocks glance to go missing
  • Syncing Music to the Apple Watch has been fixed
  • An issue impacting audio quality when playing audio over USB in some car stereos has been fixed
  • A bug with iCloud Keychain that caused "Could Not Set Up iCloud Keychain" errors has been fixed 
  • Videos with 'folw' track associations failed to play on 32-bit devices has been fixed
iOS 9.2 Public Beta 2 is now available through Software Update or via Apple's Beta Software Program for registered public beta testers
