Apple Releases iOS 9.2 Beta 2


Following the launch of iOS 9.2 Beta 1 just one week ago, the company has officially released a brand new build of iOS 9, iOS 9.2 Beta 2 build number 13C5060d, to developers for download and testing.

iOS 9.2 Beta 2 includes new features as well as some bug fixes such as:

  • The ability to dismiss the Safari View Controller with a swipe from the edge 
  • AT&T's NumberSync feature support, which enables users to receive calls to their phone numbers on Mac or iPad devices, without the need to be connected on the same Wi-Fi network
  • Un-paring and re-pairing the Apple Watch will no longer cause the Stocks glance to go missing
  • Syncing Music to the Apple Watch has been fixed
  • An issue impacting audio quality when playing audio over USB in some car stereos has been fixed
  • A bug with iCloud Keychain that caused "Could Not Set Up iCloud Keychain" errors has been fixed 
  • Videos with 'folw' track associations failed to play on 32-bit devices has been fixed
iOS 9.2 Beta 2 is now available through Software Update or via iOS Dev Center for registered developers.
