Apple Launches OS X 10.11.2 Beta 3/Public Beta 3

Following the launch of OS X 10.11.2 Beta 2 as well as OS X 10.11.2 Public Beta 2 last week, the company has officially released a brand new build of OS X El Capitan, OS X 10.11.2 Beta 3 build number 15C40a, to developers for download and testing.

Alongside OS X 10.11.2 Beta 3, Apple has also launched OS X 10.11.2 Public Beta 3. Similar to OS X 10.11.2 Beta 2, the third build of OS X 10.11.2 Beta comes with bug fixes, security improvements, and performance enhancements. Although, Apple is asking developers to focus on:

  • Photos
  • Wi-Fi
  • Networking
  • Spotlight
  • USB
  • Calendar
  • Notes
  • Mail
OS X 10.11.2 Beta 3 is now available through Software Update or via the Mac Dev Center for registered developers, while public beta testers will get it via Software Update or through Apple's Beta Software Program.
