Android Marshmallow Update For Samsung Devices Leaked

Following the launch of Android Marshmallow just over one month ago, a new report claims to obtain some inside documents about Samsung's plans of releasing Google's latest and sweetest Android OS on its Galaxy devices.

According to TimesNews, Samsung will be launching Android Marshmallow in three phases, which will include:

  • Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920G) - (December 2015)
  • Galaxy S6 Edge+ (SM-928G) - (December 2015)
  • Galaxy S6 (SM-G920I) - ( January 2016)
  • Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925I) - ( January 2016)
  • Galaxy Note 4 (SM-910G) - (February 2016)
  • Galaxy Note Edge (SM-915G) - (February 2016)
  • Galaxy S5 (SM-G900G) - (Waiting Approval)
  • Galaxy Alpha (SM-G850Y) - (Waiting Approval)
While the second phase will feature:
  • Galaxy A8 (SM-A8000) - (Waiting Approval)
  • Galaxy A7 (SM-A700F) - (Waiting Approval)
  • Galaxy A5 (SM-A500F) - (Waiting Approval)
  • Galaxy A3 (SM-A300F) - (Waiting Approval)
  • Galaxy E7 (SM-E700H) - (Waiting Approval)
  • Galaxy E5 (SM-E500H) - (Waiting Approval)
Last but not least, the report also states that a third phase, which will begin after the initial testing, will be supporting the other Samsung Galaxy devices that are compatible with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
