Samsung Introducing Z3


Samsung has officially revealed its latest and greatest Tizen-based product, as well as the latest member joining the Z family, the Samsung Z3, delivering a successor to the Samsung Z1 that offers "powerful performance and easy customization via exclusive, localized features".

The Z3 features 5.0-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 128GB), 8MP shooter and 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 2,600 mAh battery, 3G connectivity only, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and Tizen OS.

The phone comes in 7.9mm thin and weighs 137g, with Ultra Data Saving Mode, Ultra Power Saving Mode, pre-loaded with My Galaxy app that offer various exclusive services including local deals and entertainment content, Mix Radio app that delivers personalized free music streaming service, as well as Gold, Black and Silver color options.

According to JK Shin, CEO and Head of IT & Mobile Business at Samsung Electronics "As a pioneer of Tizen platform, we have continuously introduced Tizen-based mobile devices, including Samsung Z1 and Samsung Gear S2, in our commitment to develop the Tizen ecosystem" He continued "We developed the Samsung Z3 to provide the features that will help consumers capitalize on the growing Tizen ecosystem and make the most out of their personal mobile experience".

The Samsung Z3 will be available in India starting this month for INR 8490 (about $131).
