New Rock Band Legacy DLCs Details Revealed

With Rock Band 4 launch date just one day away, Harmonix Music Systems has officially announced that players can now re-download their previously purchased Legacy Rock Band DLCs in order to play these tracks in Rock Band 4, once the game launches.

To get Legacy Rock Band DLCs on PlayStation, all you have to do is:
  • Turn on your PS4 console
  • Sign in to the PlayStation Network ID that you originally purchased your legacy Rock Band DLC on
  • Navigate to the PlayStation Store
  • Under Search, type in "Rock Band 4" and select the "Rock Band 4" Game
  • Navigate to "Add-On" and Select "View All"
  • From there, you can either filter the list to see ONLY "Free" Add-Ons, or sort price by "Low-to-High"
  • You should see individual DLC tracks come up as "Purchased"
  • Select the individual Add-On you want to download and select "Download"
  • The download should automatically begin and be added to your PS4 Downloads
  • Done! You will be able to play this content in Rock Band 4 once the game is loaded
To get Legacy Rock Band DLCs on Xbox, all you have to do is:
  • Turn on your Xbox One
  • Sign in to the Xbox Live Gamertag that you originally purchased your legacy Rock Band DLC on
  • Navigate to the Xbox Live Marketplace titled "Store"
  • Select "Search", and look for "Rock Band 4"
  • You will see multiple products for the title. Select the game "Rock Band 4"
  • Navigate to "Add-Ons" and select the ellipses (the big "..." at the bottom of the featured Add-Ons) to view all Add-Ons
  • Select the individual Add-On you want to download and select "Install"
  • The download should automatically begin
  • Done! You will be able to play this content in Rock Band 4 once the game is loaded
That's it, you are now ready to rock in Rock Band 4, when the game launches tomorrow on both Xbox One and PS4. Although, players will only be able to re-download Legacy DLCs for free within each console family.
