Motorola Reveals Droid Maxx 2

Motorola in collaboration with Verizon has officially revealed its latest and greatest mid-range product, as well as the latest member joining the Droid family, the Droid Maxx 2, delivering a successor to the two years old Droid Maxx that offers a "longer battery life, clearer pictures, and a more powerful processor".

The Droid Maxx 2 features 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 615 64-bit Octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD Card (up to 128GB), 21MP shooter with 1080p recording and 5MP front-facing camera, 3630mAh battery, and Android 5.1.1, Lollipop.

The phablet comes in 8.9-10.9mm thin and weighs 169g, with Front-ported speaker, NFC, Water-repellent, 4G connectivity, TurboPower charging (up to 8 hours of power in just 15 minutes), swappable Motorola Shells and Flip Shells, as well as Black with Deep Sea Blue Back or White with Winter White Back color options.

According to Motorola "True to its moniker, DROID Maxx 2 takes your smartphone to the Maxx: Maxx battery life, Maxx megapixels, and of course, Maxx value".

The Droid Maxx 2 will be available October 29 for $384 exclusively through the company's online and retail stores.
