Microsoft Releases New Windows 10 Insider Preview Build

Following the release of Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10547 over three weeks ago, Microsoft has officially launched an all-new build of Windows 10, Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10565, to Windows Insiders for download and testing.

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10565 includes improvements as well as some new features such as:

  • Skype messaging, calling and video capabilities has been integrated into Windows 10 through the Messaging, Phone and Skype video universal Windows apps
  • Microsoft Edge now supports Tab Preview as well as Syncing Favorites and Reading list items
  • Inked notes support and the ability to track of your leisure time, including movie and event reminders, has been added to Cortana
  • More vibrant title bars and new icons
  • Improved context menus on Start, including a new icons for tile adjustments
  • The ability to activate Windows 10 on devices that take advantage of the free upgrade offer by using your existing Windows 7/8/8.1 product keys
  • New mode that makes your default printer the last printer you used
Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10565 is now available through Windows Update as part of the company's Fast Ring builds program, for registered Windows Insiders.
