LG Reveals Watch Urbane 2nd Edition


LG has officially announced its latest and greatest wearable product, as well as the latest member joining the Watch family, the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition, delivering a successor to the original LG Watch Urbane, while offering the "first Android Wear device to feature cellular connectivity".

The Watch Urbane 2nd Edition features 1.38-inch (480 x 480) full circle P-OLED Display, Snapdragon 400 Quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 768MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 570mAh battery, (Dust and Water Resistance) IP67, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, 4G and 3G connectivity, and Android Wear (compatible with Android and iOS devices).

The smartwatch comes in 14.2mm thin, with hairline-etched stainless steel body and durable hypoallergenic TPSiV elastomer band, LG Health, heart rate monitor, Power Saving Mode, Ambient mode, Three physical buttons for quick access to shortcut settings, as well as Space Black, Opal Blue, Luxe White, and Signature Brown color options.

According to Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company "At LG, we don’t think there is a one-size-fits-all wearable device. This second edition of our Watch Urbane aims to be a must-have smart device for active individuals who want to stay connected to the world, whether they’re at work, at home or on the tennis court".

The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition will be available first in US and Korea, while Europe, CIS, Asia, and Middle East markets will get it later on. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on the smartwatch's pricing and release date.
