Huawei Introducing Honor 5X

Huawei has officially revealed its latest and greatest mid-range product, as well as the latest member joining the Honor family, the Honor 5X, delivering a successor to the six months old Honor 4X that offers upgraded specs as well as build quality.

The Honor 5X features 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 616 64-bit Octa-core processor (4x1.7GHz + 4x1.2GHz), Adreno 405 GPU, 2/3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 128GB), 13MP shooter and 5MP front-facing camera, 3,000mAh battery, and EMUI 3.1 on top of top of Android Lollipop.

The phablet comes meta unibody design, 4G connectivity, dual-SIM support, fingerprint sensor on the back (unlocks the phone in just 0.5 seconds), Quick Charge 3.0, as well as Black and Silver, White and Silver, or Gold color options.

The Honor 5X is now available to pre-order in China starting at CNY 999 (about $157) for the base model, while the higher one will go for CNY 1399 (about $220).
