HTC Introducing One A9

HTC has officially revealed its latest and greatest product, as well as the latest member joining the One family, the One A9, delivering a brand new device that offers "stunning, no-compromise smartphone that stands out from the crowd".

The One A9 features 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Snapdragon 617 64-bit Octa-core processor (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz), 2/3GB RAM, 16/32GB internal storage, microSD card (up to 2TB), 13MP shooter with OIS and 4MP UltraPixel front-facing camera, 2150mAh battery, Home button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor, and HTC Sense on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The phone comes in 7.26mm thin and weighs 143g, with metal and glass construction, Gorilla Glass 4, Dolby Audio with Hi-Res Audio, Quick Charge 2.0 support (upgradable to Quick Charge 3.0 via future software update), 4G connectivity, as well as Carbon Gray, Opal Silver, Topaz Gold and Deep Garnet color options.

According to Cher Wang, HTC chairwoman and CEO "HTC is a smartphone pioneer, having delivered the first Android smartphone, the first Windows smartphone, the first 4G smartphone, and the first all-metal smartphone," He continued "Today we're taking that heritage of innovation to the next level, unveiling a phone that stands apart in a market increasingly dominated by a company which controls every aspect of your phone".

The HTC One A9 is now available to pre-order in US for $399.99 for a limited time only, while the phone will begin rolling out globally starting November.
