BlackBerry has also released the official specs of the Priv, which includes 5.43-inch Quad-HD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display, Snapdragon 808 processor 64-bit Hexa-core processor (2x 1.8GHz + 4x 1.44GHz), Adreno 418 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, MicroSD card (up to 2TB), 18MP shooter with OIS and 2MP front-facing camera, 3,410mAh battery, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The phone comes in 9.4mm thin and weighs 192g, with slightly dual-curved screen, Gorilla Glass 4, Physical Sliding Keyboard that doubles as a track pad, passive stylus support, Quick charge 2.0, Wireless Charging (PMA and Qi support), 4G connectivity, NFC, DTEK privacy and security, as well as Black color option.
The BlackBerry Priv is now available to pre-order in Canada, US, and UK for $899 CDN, $699 USD, and £559 (Incl. VAT) respectively through the company's online store as well as number of mobile carriers and partners, while the phone will begin shipping starting November 6. Although, other countries will get it later on.
