Beats Reveals Beats Pill+

Beats has officially revealed its latest and greatest product, as well as the latest member joining the Pill family, the Beats Pill+, delivering a new speaker that "sets a new standard for quality and design within the burgeoning portable speaker market".

The Beats Pill+ features 8.25-inch long (slightly larger than the original Beats Pill), stereo active 2-way crossover system, Tweeter and woofer separation, button controls have been relocated at the top of the speaker, up to 12-hour of battery life, quick charge (from 0 to 100% in 3 hours), and works with Bluetooth-enabled devices including laptops and smartphones.

The speaker comes with Beats Pill+ app that enables users to manage their speaker straight their smartphone and control music from two Bluetooth sources
(available on both iOS and Android), the ability to charge your phone and other devices via USB port, fuel gauge that tracks your power levels, as well as Black and White color options.

According to Luke Wood, Beats President "When you obsess about sound the way that we do at Beats, portable Bluetooth speakers can be very tricky," He continued "We spent countless days, weeks, months testing for that perfect combination of form and function - small enough to travel but still big enough to feel the emotion of the music. That’s what you get with Pill+".

The Beats Pill+ will be available for $229.95 through Apple's and Beats online stores, as well the company's authorized retailers starting November.
