Apple Launches iOS 9.0.2


Following the release of iOS 9.0.1 just one week ago, the company has officially launched an all-new build of iOS 9, iOS 9.0.2 build number 13A452 that bring a bunch of bug fixes, to the public for download and update.

iOS 9.0.2 features bug fixes, improvements, as well as under-the-hood enhancements such as:

  • An issue with the setting to turn on or off app cellular data usage has been fixed
  • An issue that prevented iMessage activation for some users has been fixed
  • An issue where an iCloud backup could be interrupted after starting a manual backup has been fixed
  • An issue where the screen could incorrectly rotate when receiving notifications has been fixed
  • The stability of Podcasts has been improved
  • A lock screen issue allowed access to photos and contacts on a locked device via Siri has been fixed
iOS 9.0.2 is now rolling out as a free update through Software Update or via iTunes for all supported iOS devices, including iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices.
