Samsung Pay Officially Launches In US

Following the announcement of Samsung Pay Beta Program one month ago, Samsung has officially announced that it will now be rolling out its secure and easy-to-use mobile payment service in US to all 2015 Galaxy Flagship owners.

With Samsung Pay, users will be able to make purchases nearly everywhere they can already swipe or tap their cards, including non NFC-enabled terminals, thanks to Samsung's mobile payments service support for both Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) as well as Near Field Communication (NFC) technologies.

According to Samsung "Welcome to Samsung Pay, the new way to pay with your phone. It’s simple. Secure. And works in more stores than any other mobile payment service".

Samsung Pay is only compatible with American Express, Bank of America , Citi, US Bank, VISA, MasterCard, and other Synchrony Financial Merchant Credit Cards for now, as well as Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, and Galaxy Note 5 devices for now, with more to be supported later on.
